Rugby is about teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship. Our emphasis is about having fun and playing safely in an inclusive environment. Not only is the rugby fun, but playing for Mold RFC gives children the chance to enjoy the camaraderie and friendship that comes from being part of a team and part of a club that is one of the most successful in North Wales. Mold RFC Youth is for children who are 16-18 and in Year 12-13 in school only.

Training & Matches - Where and When
We train every week on the 3G pitch at the Club House, Chester Road, Mold. Please feel free to turn up to our training sessions or contact the Head Coach or Manager if you'd like to know more.
Matches are played on a Saturday afternoon, kick off 2.30 pm we play in North Wales Youth League Division. The Club provides the Playing Shirts.

How much does it cost ?
For the first few sessions there is no charge. Once you decide rugby's for you and would like to carry on training and playing you will need to join the Rugby Club and register with the Welsh Rugby Union. The Manager will be able to give you a breakdown of costs (we operate a Direct Debit system), there are discount rates for Students.

What should you wear ?
Rugby Shirt, shorts, rugby boots (suitable moulded boots when training on the 3G pitch), gum shield, and drink. Gum shields are available from a local Dentist who makes them to order - please ask the Manager for further information.

I haven't played Rugby before 
At Mold Rugby Club all our Coaches are qualified, so no matter what your level of rugby ability or knowledge is, you can be confident that you are in the best place to be introduced to the game and developed. All our Managers and Coaches are DBS checked.
