Mold U13's hosted a travelling Oswestry team who had made the trip up for an early and wet start, it wasn't going to be a good day for our visitors who arrived with a small squad of just 6 players.

Mold provided additional players, which for us was good as it enabled us to give game time to some players that have not had an opportunity so far this season, we were lucky that this happened really as it gave us the chance to work on a few things before our RGC pool games next week.

With the weather raining but the warm the ball was greasey and handed out a few lessons to both sets of players in how to carry and grip a ball in the wet, needless to say, Mold put the pressure on and made an early break through and went over to score the first of eight tries, some good individual work created openings to play from, however, when Mold played as a unit and worked together as a team they controlled the possesion and the field.

At half time Mold swapped players around and moved some of the loanee players back into a Mold shirt and sent others out on a halfs loan to Oswestry, the second half continued in the same way with Mold controlling most of the possesion, Oswestry made a valiant atempt at a comeback but the game was to far gone with Mold running out winners 52 - 19.
